Mica falls into three kinds:biotite,muscovite,phlogopite.
The biotite is black or puce, and some with the color of pink, aqua or other tone. The biotite with high content of TiO2 is pink brown, while those with abundant high quantivalence Fe is green. The biotite is various from tran***rent to semitran***rent with the luster of glass. The cleavage surface of biotite has the luster of pearl. The black ones have the luster of metal. The phlogopites fall in two major kinds: the deep phlogopite (various deepness of brown and green) and light mica (various deepness of light golden).
